My friend bought one of my scarves as part of the Artists Support Pledge , you can read about it at the bottom of this blogpost. She posted a photo of herself wearing it on Instagram. I loved the photo so I printed it out , doodlebombed it and posted it to her. I’ve asked other friends to send me photos to do as well.

Today is the the last week of my Made on Monday 2019 project, I have made 52 5×5 inch mixed media pieces, it’s taken me 56 weeks, but that’s not bad.

I took part in a Swapbot swap on the theme of “Doodle Bombed”, I sent this one..
and I received this one from Inge in Belgium.
I posted my card on Instagram and added the hashtag #doodlebomb , then I clicked on it and found lots of interesting stuff, including this site

Someone in a Facebook group said “Have you heard of “Mail Me Some Art” ?” and I had not, but I have now.
They have a blog
I signed up for it and have joined in my first swap which is on the theme of “Ascemic Writing” which I knew little about, but learnt from this blogpost
I prepared an A4 sheet of paper by stencilling with acrylic paints, leaving it to dry and then rubbing over it with different coloured inks.

A couple of months ago a friend gave me a bag of acrylic shavings which are a waste product of machining mouthpieces for the amazing whistles she makes. You can see them on her website and Facebook
