A couple of months ago a friend gave me a bag of acrylic shavings which are a waste product of machining mouthpieces for the amazing whistles she makes. You can see them on her website and Facebook

philately will get you nowhere…

World Collage Day

Back in May I stumbled across a post on Instagram that said “Did you know May 11th is World Collage Day?” I have to admit I did not. My interest was piqued though, and it came at a time when I was keen to experiment with other art mediums (aka avoiding tidying my workshop). A collage artist in Germany called Bhupaligupte suggested that to celebrate it anyone could make and send some collage postcards by snail mail.… Read the rest

Monday makings (part 2)…

100 days of : chapter 8

I’m taking part in the 100 Day Project , it officially finished on 10th of July, but I am still going. I had a bit of a break for a couple of months, and I must admit it is very easy to get out of the habit of stitching everyday.

delicious pebblicious…

Now the nights are drawing in and the leaves are beginning to turn my mind turns once more to collaboration.
It’s been more than 2 months since the last one finished, and I am only now getting round to blogging it. Summer got in the way, I guess.
