Monday makings (part 1)….

I am taking part in the Made on Monday project again, I did it once before in 2016, you can read all  about it here  It involves making a new piece of 5×5 inch art every week for a year, and posting it online on a Monday.
The first time round I used fabric scraps from my ample scrap box, which never gets any less ample. This time I decided to expand my horizons and include other media such as paper, pen, paint, machine and hand stitching and found objects as well as textiles. I’m enjoying trying different things, although I have discovered that I don’t like getting sticky with glue. Here are my first 12.

  1. All awesome Fran

  2. Hi Fran,,,,I will try following your “Monday Markings” concept. I can’t do “daily”, unless, I’m part of “the doing art under pressure” for some shows coming pronto…cheers

    1. Hi Lynne, please join the Movement to Make Mondays Marvellous, we’d love to have you on board … I initiated it in 2015 and we’re still welcoming new people. More info at: http://katebridger.wixsite.com/madeonmonday

      1. Hi Fran,,,,I will start my 5×5 works after May 15th,,,,I will be free-er than I am right now. I do need some kind of discipline. Question….I work in several media and styles,,,should I just “go for it” with “no rules” other than it must be 5×5, and original? thank you very much for this cool “kick in the pants”,,,,cheers,,,,Lynne Sward
